Product Description
A Flora negative pressure sensor (often referred to as a negative pressure gauge or switch) is a critical component used in Flora large-format digital inkjet printers.
It monitors and regulates the internal vacuum of the ink system to ensure stable ink flow, prevent nozzle leaking (dripping), and maintain precise dot placement during high-speed printing,
- Ink Stability: Maintains a constant “back-pressure” (vacuum) that keeps ink from dripping out of the printhead nozzles due to gravity.
- Error Reduction: Minimizes print imperfections like banding, color shifts, and ink bleeding.
- Maintenance: Standardizing on high-quality sensors has been reported to reduce maintenance-related downtime by up to 30% by decreasing the frequency of head cleaning cycles.
